I called Kaiser yesterday and talked to a person who really knew their stuff. I was calling regarding one of our small group client’s bills. The person at Kaiser helped me through step by step as we went over the client’s bill and discovered there were parts of it that the patient should not have been charged. They were deemed preventative and because of healthcare reform, preventative services are free.
The guy on the phone at Kaiser said, “wow, you really know your stuff!” and I took that as a compliment.
